• Health Assessment: Prior to the expedition, ensure you undergo a health check-up to confirm you are fit for moderate to strenuous physical activity in a jungle environment.
  • Vaccinations: Verify that routine vaccines (e.g., tetanus, typhoid, hepatitis A and B) are up to date. Consider additional vaccinations recommended for jungle or tropical areas, such as yellow fever or malaria prophylaxis, based on Junglore’s advice.
  • Medication: Carry any personal medications you require, along with your own basic first aid kit including antiseptics, bandages, insect repellent, anti-itch creams, and pain relievers.
  • Allergies: Inform Junglore guides of any allergies or medical conditions beforehand.

  • Guided Tours: Always stay with the designated Junglore guide or group. Do not wander off alone.
  • Clothing: Wear appropriate clothing such as long sleeves, long pants, sturdy boots, and hats to protect against insects, sun, and plants.
  • Hydration & Food: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and avoid consuming unfamiliar plants or wildlife.
  • Insect Protection: Use insect repellents and mosquito nets as advised by Junglore to minimize the risk of insect-borne diseases.
  • Wildlife Safety: Maintain a safe distance from wildlife. Do not feed or provoke animals, and follow all instructions given by the guides.
  • Environmental Respect: Avoid littering and damaging the environment.
  • Follow Junglore’s guidelines for responsible trekking to preserve the jungle ecosystem.
  • Weather Preparedness: Be prepared for sudden weather changes by carrying rain gear and extra layers.
  • Communication: Keep communication devices charged and accessible as per Junglore’s recommendations.

  • Junglore First Aid Kit: The Junglore team will carry a comprehensive first aid kit to handle minor injuries and medical situations during the expedition.
  • Personal First Aid Kit: Each participant is strongly advised to carry their own basic first aid supplies tailored to their personal health needs, including any prescription medications, allergy treatments, and insect repellents.

  • Guide Contact: Each group will be assigned a trained Junglore guide who is equipped with communication devices for immediate assistance.
  • Emergency Number: Junglore provides a 24/7 emergency contact number for expedition participants. Keep this number saved and accessible at all times.
  • Medical Evacuation: In case of serious injury or illness, Junglore coordinates timely evacuation to the nearest medical facility.
  • Local Authorities: Junglore maintains liaison with local wildlife and forest authorities to assist in emergencies related to wildlife encounters or natural hazards.

Please consult your Junglore expedition coordinator for any additional medical or safety requirements. Carrying your own first aid supplies, along with Junglore’s kit, ensures an extra layer of safety for a secure and enjoyable jungle adventure.
